Cassie Frost, M.Ed
Cassie Frost, M.Ed has been in the special education field for 14 years. She has taught in a variety of settings, including a residential treatment facility, an alternative middle/high school, and the public school system. Cassie’s focus has been on behaviors and emotions and how those can affect progress through the educational system. Her background in behavior and emotional needs of the individual student have lead her to look at technology and assistive technology in a unique way. Cassie is currently a full-time Assistive Technology Specialist in the public school system. Cassie consults with students and adults in the area of behavior and assistive technology to identify and design systems of support that enable independence and improved emotional and behavioral outcomes. Cassie has provided training at the state and national level, including Closing the Gap, the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
